Coldwell Banker Realty agent Mark Stevens excels at assisting clients with selling or buying vineyards, estates, or wineries in the Sonoma, Napa, and Mendocino counties. He wields his 30+ years of experience in the region and extensive network of winery experts to assist his clients. Mark is also a trained commercial broker and offers insights and advice on real estate investments and developments.
Mark’s passion for science – stemming from his education in molecular and cellular biology – fueled his interest and studies in viticulture, which led to his professional experience at Sonoma Cutrer (Brown-Forman). He worked on both sides of vineyard and winery sales and acquisitions. During this time, Mark assisted, advised, and completed transactions with a few prominent players, including Kendall Jackson, Gallo, Paul Hobbs, Patz and Hall, Michel-Schlumberger (Jacques Schlumberger and The Adams Group), Carlisle Winery and Richard and Saralee Kunde.
Mark also has experience transacting lease or build-to-suit developments and sales of business associated with real property, including the sales of Harmony Farm Supply and Bassagnani’s Nursery in West Sonoma County and the development and sale of Gravenstein Station and Sebastopol Inn (a $5 million project).
Throughout the years, Mark has built an array of contacts comprising estate and brand managers, winemakers, and facility experts, which he calls upon to help his clients understand the winery business and provide valuable information they may need. Mark also leads two team members – Jane Bravo, a licensed real estate assistant and certified transaction coordinator, and Joe Hughes of Phelps and Associates, who is on retainer for all mapping and survey data research. Mark and his associates, bolstered by the expertise of winery connoisseurs, go above and beyond to provide high-quality service that achieves an optimal return on investment for their clients.
